Elk producers are a very dynamic, innovative, and energetic group of people that come from a wide variety of backgrounds. These dynamics have resulted in an industry that is constantly moving forward and establishing itself as a viable sector in Alberta's agricultural industry. Many of the pioneers of the industry are committed to its success are a great inspiration to the many that have joined the industry in the last five years and for those in the years to come. |

Alberta elk producers are committed to producing products of the highest quality to build and maintain a sustainable and profitable future. Elk producers recognize their responsibility to the animal and the environment they maintain. Producers have taken on the responsibility of being stewards of the land whereby the health of the environment is kept in an ecological balance with the raising of elk.
